1. Introduction

Welcome to GWEVA (“GWEVA,” “we,” “us” or “our”), a premium African streetwear brand based in Johannesburg, South Africa. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the GWEVA website and online store, including browsing our collections, creating an account and purchasing GWEVA apparel and accessories (the “Service”).

By using the Service, creating an account or placing an order you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. We may update these Terms from time to time; the version published on this page applies to every new order.

2. Orders & Payment

All prices are shown in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable. Orders are confirmed via our WhatsApp checkout: when you place an order you receive a unique order number and complete confirmation on WhatsApp. An order is only accepted once we confirm it and, where applicable, payment has been received.

Additional payment methods (card, instant EFT and digital wallets) are being introduced and are marked “Coming Soon” until live. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors and to limit quantities on limited-edition drops.

3. Shipping & Delivery

We dispatch orders within 24 hours on business days. Delivery within South Africa takes 2–4 working days; shipping is free on orders over R1,000, otherwise a R99 courier fee applies. International delivery is available at checkout and takes 5–10 working days with full tracking.

You can track any order at any time using your order number on our Order Tracking page. Estimated delivery dates are indicative and may be affected by courier delays outside our control.

4. Returns & Refunds

You may return or exchange unworn, unwashed items in their original packaging within 30 days of delivery. Limited-edition pieces can be exchanged for a different size only, subject to availability. To start a return, contact us on WhatsApp or email with your order number.

Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method within 7 working days of us receiving the returned items. Return shipping is free when the item is faulty or incorrect; otherwise the return courier cost is for your account.

5. Privacy

We respect your privacy and process personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). We collect only what we need to fulfil your orders and manage your account: your name, contact details, delivery address and order history.

We never sell your personal information. Order details are shared with couriers solely for delivery. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us.

6. Customer Obligations

You agree to provide accurate account, contact and delivery information and to keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.

You agree not to misuse the Service, including attempting to breach its security, scraping content, placing fraudulent orders, or reselling GWEVA products commercially without our written consent.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this site — the GWEVA name, logo, designs, graphics, photography and copy — is owned by or licensed to GWEVA and protected by intellectual property law. Our designs are original works; reproducing or reselling them without permission is prohibited.

You may share our content on social media with attribution. Any other use requires our prior written consent.

8. Communication Preferences

By creating an account or subscribing to the newsletter you consent to receive service communications (order confirmations, delivery and tracking updates) and, if opted in, marketing about new drops and releases.

You can opt out of marketing at any time via the unsubscribe link or by contacting us. Service communications about your active orders cannot be opted out of while an order is in progress.

9. Contact & Disputes

Questions about these Terms, your order or your account: contact us at info@gweva.co.za or on WhatsApp via the number on our Contact page. We aim to respond within one business day.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute will first be addressed through good-faith negotiation; failing that, disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the South African courts. If any provision of these Terms is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain in force.
